People always laugh when they hear my website, and usually ask where I got it from. The story behind unculturedswine is filled with tragedy, deception and treason. But not really. Back in 2003 I finished my first web class and wanted to build a website of my own. My friend at work had one and I thought it would be neat to have one as well; mainly I just wanted my own e-mail address.
So I looked into a hosting service, and then went into the process of picking a name. That was hard. I decided to get my friends Josh, Chris and Brody involved. Josh was the most reactive in the name ideas and we decided to go with a theme from one of our joint favorite movies. We, mainly I, settled on a great line from Toy Story, "You uncultured swine!", as said by Mr Potato Head to Ham. Thus, unculturedswine was born.
My friends fizzled out pretty quick though, and the website basically just became all about me. And it's been that way ever since! It has gone through many design revisions and has seen some pretty ugly days. I think I'm currently on number 7 or 8, maybe more. But hey, I'm a web designer, I can do what I want!
